lobby lit by a central glass skylight. MS Avalon Poetry offers unsurpassed

Spacious and airy, the restaurant offers floor- to- ceiling windows to allow panoramic views of the passing sights whilst dining. Food aboard MS Avalon Poetry is predominantly European in style with contemporary American dishes also available. . Tea and coffee, are available throughout the day, free of charge and afternoon tea/coffee is served most days with a choice of cookies and cakes.

Early Riser Coffee (6 am)
Start your day with a self-service coffee, hot water, croissants, cookies and assorted finger foods.
Breakfast (served from 7:30 until 8.30
am)
A choice of breads, cereals, fruits, cold cuts, cheeses,
smoked salmon, pastries, yoghurts and juices, as well as hot items
which var y daily such as eggs, sausage and bacon.
Lunch buffet (12:30 pm)
Passengers have a choice of meals including starters, soups,
hot dishes, homemade breads, cold cuts, cheese, salad and a range
of delicious desserts.
Dinner (7:30pm)
A more formal affair, dinner is a sit down four-course meal,
served in a single sitting, with open seating. Complimentary
house wine is served with dinner.

- Dress code: Dress onboard and ashore is casual. Comfortable walking shoes/trainers are recommended for shore excursions. Dinner attire is smart casual - open-neck shirts and trousers for men, casual dresses for women. Jackets and ties may be worn. The Captain’s Welcome and Farewell Dinners are dressy but not formal.
- Smoking policy: Avalon MS Avalon Poetry operates a strict no smoking on board policy. Smoking is only allowed on deck.
- Currency: The on board currency is the Euro. US dollars and traveller’s cheques can be changed to euros on board.
- Electrical appliances: Appliances run on a 220 V / 50 Hertz Electrical current. We suggest you bring a 2-pin adapter for 110V appliances
