Croatia: A Most Welcome Alternative
Only two and a half hours away and brimming with history and culture, Croatia is a welcome alternative to other, more familiar, Mediterranean resorts.
Dubrovnik & Cavtat
The beautifully preserved medieval city of Dubrovnik is an easy city to enjoy. The fabulous walls hint at the its strategic value and also offer great vantage points to enjoy the ornate churches, squares and fine buildings that characterise this fine, red-roofed city on the Adriatic.
Further along the coast, Cavtat is a thoroughly picturesque resort with it's palm-fringed waterfront, excellent restaurants and superb watersports.
