Attracting a predominantly British clientele, Balmoral is a handsome, well built ship and the largest vessel in the Fred. Olsen fleet. She is spacious with a good selection of fine public rooms while still offering the sense of intimacy which Fred. Olsen’s loyal clientele insist on. Balmoral offers a range of dining choices, from the splendid, yet inviting, main Ballindalloch Restaurant, Spey and Avon Rooms to the convenience and informality of the Yacht Club Café.
There are two sittings in the main restaurants in the evening at 6.30 and 8.30 pm. You will find at Restaurant Seating Card in your cabin on arrival, advising you of your table number and dining time for the cruise.
A complimentary cabin service menu operates on board between 10 am and 10pm every day (except during embarkation and disembarkation times), offering light snacks. Drinks are available 24 hours a day.
All restaurants operate a no smoking policy.
Balmoral offers quiet spaces in which to relax during lazy days at sea or choose from a range of entertainment including tennis on deck, fitness classes, quizzes or darts competitions and a variety of guest lectures or port talks . Details of all events on board will be detailed in the Daily Times newsletter, placed in your cabin each evening.

Casual and comfortable during the day. Evenings range from smart casual (shirt & trousers) to semi formal (jacket & tie for gentlemen and casual elegance for ladies). Formal evenings require a suit or dinner jacket for men and a cocktail dress for ladies.
Gratuities are not included in the cost of the holiday and are left at your discretion. For guidance, we recommend £2 per passenger per day for cabin stewardesses and restaurant waiters.

No smoking in restaurants or cabins. Smoking areas are available around the ship. Smoking is only permitted on deck in UK ports.
