DAY 1: UK - Barcelona.
Fly to Barcelona where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for two nights.
DAY 2: Barcelona.
Catalonia's capital is arguably Spain's most exciting city and offers up celebrated history, fine shopping and fabulous cuisine. Amble along Las Ramblas, stopping at its charming street cafés, restaurants and shops, and the star attraction is undoubtedly Gaudi's astonishing Sagrada Familia, the soaring, fairytale cathedral that was left unfinished on his death and which is still being gradually built. DAY 3: Barcelona.
Transfer to your ship, Norwegian Epic, for embarkation. (B, D)

DAY 5: Naples.
Naples is an exhilarating city, set in a breathtaking position between mighty Mount Vesuvius and the shimmering Bay of Naples. Explore the wealth of cultural treasures at leisure or join an optional trip to either beautiful Capri island, the remarkable remains of Pompeii or the soaring slopes and crater of Mount Vesuvius National Park. DAY 6: Civitavecchia (for Rome).
Today, don't miss an optional excursion to witness Rome's vast and glorious St Peter's Square, the majestic St Peter's Basilica and splendid Clemente's Basilica before enjoying a guided tour of the mighty Colosseum. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: Livorno (for Pisa and Florence).
On the western shores of Tuscany, 16th century Livorno is the gateway to two of Italy's most poetic cities - Pisa and Florence. Explore Livorno's photogenic centre, which features lovely canals, bridges and plazas fringed with chic cafés and shops or alternatively, join an optional excursion to Pisa to see its amazing Leaning Tower or visit Florence's magnificent Uffizi Gallery. DAY 8: Marseille.
Cosmopolitan Marseille is the capital of Provence and has been a major Mediterranean harbour for more than 2,500 years. Leading off the harbour is the city's most famous street, the broad bustling boulevard La Canebiere. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: Palma de Mallorca.
Majorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and is renowned for its gorgeous beaches and vibrant, cheerful resorts. Palma, its stylish capital, is home to a fascinating historic quarter with attractions such as the impressive Gothic cathedral, the Royal Palace of La Almudaina and the Carthusian Monastery of Valldemosa. DAY 10: Barcelona - UK.
After breakfast, disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK or extend your stay in Madrid. (B)

There are no fixed sittings - dinner is served from 5.30pm to 10pm, so you can choose an early dinner before the show or a later romantic dinner for two. 24-hour room service is also available.

Tipping
