DAY 1: Dover, UK.
Make your own to Dover to join your cruise ship, Braemar. Latest embarkation time is 4.30pm. (D)
DAY 2: At sea.

DAY 3: Dublin.
Straddling the River Liffey, colourful Dublin is crammed with landmarks testifying to its 1,000-year history. Discover the 16th century castle, St Patrick's cathedral and graceful Georgian old town, admire ornamental Phoenix Park and sip a Guinness at the Hole-in-the-Wall, famous for its 100-yard-long bar. Later, see many more of this fair city's landmarks, including the National Museum of Ireland, Dublin Civic Museum and Kilmainham Gaol. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: Holyhead.
The largest town on the island of Angelsey in North Wales. Why not join the optional excursion to Caernarfon, one of the historic centres of Wales taking in a visit to the Castle where Prince Charles was invested as 'Prince of Wales' in 1969. Or perhaps join the optional excursion to the cliff top at South Stack and visit one of of Wales's mot spectacular lighthouses with its difficult descent. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: Belfast.
Set on the River Lagan, Northern Ireland's 'city of industry' is undergoing a renaissance that is making it a charming and intriguing place to visit. Laden with handsomely sculpted Edwardian and Victorian buildings, as diverse as the City Hall, Queen's University, Belfast Castle and Stormont, Belfast is an exciting city to explore, overlooked by the vast towers of its famed dry dock, renowned as the building site of the ill-fated Titanic. Stroll along the bustling, restaurant-filled waterfront at leisure or perhaps join the optional trip to Giant's Causeway, a spectacular cluster of honeycomb-like basalt rock columns and one of Ireland's most incredible natural attractions. DAY 6: At sea.

DAY 7: Kirkwall.
The spectacular Orkneys consist of 70 unspoilt islands dotted off the northeast tip of Scotland. Their fertile landscapes, hidden beaches and sandstone cliffs are a haven for wildlife and are speckled with archaeological sites. Today, discover the picture-postcard Orkney capital of Kirkwall, with its red sandstone Magnus Cathedral, Tankerness House Museum, hand-painted 'Italian Chapel' and World War II Churchill Barrier causeways. Perhaps join one of the optional excursions to admire the neolithic village at Skara Brae or the Brogdar standing stones. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: Invergordon.
Bask in the breathtaking beauty of the Loch's mountain setting and enjoy the views of ruined Urquhart Castle. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: At sea.

Tipping
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines operate an automated tipping system whereby an amount of £4 per adult per day will be added to your on board account at the end of the cruise. Gratuities will be shared equally between the cabin stewardesses and dining room waiters. Anyone wishing to vary the amount will be able to do so via the Reception desk.
