DAY 1 : UK - Chicago.

Fly to Chicago where you will transfer to your hotel for two nights.

DAY 2 : Chicago.

Start the day with a sightseeing tour and see all the landmarks of the 'Windy City'. The afternoon is at leisure. Ride the lift to the top of the Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower), or stroll in Grant Park. Perhaps enjoy dinner on the Navy Pier.

DAY 3 : Chicago - St Louis.

Travel across the fertile Illinois farmlands and cross the mighty Mississippi River as you enter St Louis, the 'Gateway to the West'. An orientation tour includes the towering Gateway Arch, which commemorates the city's key role in westward expansion. Visit the Old Courthouse and enjoy a film on the monument.

DAY 4 : St Louis - Nashville.

Start today's journey by re-crossing the Mississippi River, and travelling to Paducah, on the Ohio River, by lunchtime. Late afternoon, arrive in Nashville, in the heart of Tennessee. Includes Breakfast

DAY 5 : Nashville.

Start the day with a sightseeing tour of Nashville's famous landmarks and the recording studios of Music Row. Tour historic RCA Studio B, the cradle of the 'Nashville Sound' in the 1960's. Hitmakers in Studio B include Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley and Willie Nelson. Afterwards visit the Country Music Hall of Fame with its glittering costumes, rare instruments, and Elvis Presley's solid gold Cadillac! Tonight you have reserved premiere seats for an unforgettable show at the world-famous Grand Ole Opry, a mecca for country musicians.

DAY 6 : Nashville - Memphis.

Travel across Tennessee today to Memphis, the 'home of the blues', and a city with a distinctly southern flavour. On arrival acquaint yourself with the town with the included orientation tour. An optional excursion includes a visit to Sun Studio, where Rock 'n' Roll was first recorded, followed by dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 7 : Memphis.

A good portion of the day is devoted to Graceland, Elvis Presley's beautiful estate. The Graceland Mansion Tour includes the memorial garden and opulent 15,000-square-foot mansion. Why not upgrade (locally) to the Elvis Experience, an audio guided tour with an orientation film with full access to the state of the art visitor entertainment complex and Elvis's Private Planes? Later, return to downtown Memphis. Tonight, why not visit a blues club on famous Beale Street?

DAY 8 : Memphis - Amtrak® City of New Orleans train - New Orleans.

The City of New Orleans, the famous train of story and song, provides the locomotion for today's trip through the state and into the Mississippi River delta. Cotton fields and catfish ponds slide past as the train enters New Orleans, Louisiana. The rest of the evening is at leisure.

DAY 9 : New Orleans.

A full morning is dedicated to the sights and sounds of New Orleans, featuring a guided tour that includes the French Quarter landmarks, St Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square and a visit to a unique above ground cemetery. Next, board a boat for a cruise through the winding, swampy waterways. The rest of the day is free to explore New Orleans further.

DAY 10 : New Orleans.

A free day with a wide selection of optional activities to choose from, including a visit to a beautiful plantation home. For shoppers, Canal Street and the French Quarter offer an array of speciality shops and boutiques. This evening, perhaps join an optional Mississippi River dinner cruise aboard an authentic steamboat to enjoy a delightful buffet dinner, complete with live jazz - the perfect finale to a memorable touring adventure of the South.

DAY 11 to 12 : New Orleans.

Spend 2 days at leisure in the exciting city of New Orleans.

DAY 13 : New Orleans.

Today, transfer to the cruise port in New Orleans to embark your ship, Carnival Dream for your seven night Eastern Caribbean cruise. Includes Dinner

DAY 14 : At sea.

Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 15 : Key West.

Key West is known as the 'Conch Republic' and is a vibrant island with colourful bars and a lively 'Caribbean' atmosphere. Join an optional excursion to visit Hemingway's house, to see original manuscripts and many of his famed six-toed cats. Whilst on the island, sample its culinary treasures, such as conch salad and the world-famous Key Lime pie. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 16 : Freeport.

Freeport is the lively resort centre of Grand Bahama Island offering great shopping opportunities in Port Lucaya Marketplace, where duty-free treasures can be found from around the world. For those who wish to venture further afield, the eastern and western ends of the island offer up serene and quaint hideaways. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 17 : Nassau.

The capital of the Bahamas, is also one of the most popular ports in the Caribbean. An idyllic place with stretches of perfect white-sand beaches, gracefully swaying coconut palms offering oases of shade, and warm, crystal-clear waters revealing the secrets of incredible multi-coloured marine life. Whether you spend the day shopping for duty-free gifts and mementos, taking a carriage ride past sorbet-coloured buildings, or touring in a glass-bottom boat, chances are you'll leave this happy place in the Bahamas with lots of beautiful memories. Includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

DAY 18 to 19 : At sea.

DAY 20 : New Orleans - UK.

After breakfast, disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to the UK. Includes Breakfast
