DAY 1 : UK - Denver.

Fly to Denver where you will transfer to your hotel for two nights.

DAY 2 : Denver.

Enjoy time at leisure in Denver before meeting up with your travelling companions and Tour Director for a welcome drink this evening. Includes Breakfast

DAY 3 : Denver - Georgetown Loop Railroad - Glenwood Springs.

This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Denver. Afterwards head to the beautiful Colorado Mountains. Board the historic Georgetown Loop Railroad. Sit back and relax as the train passes the amazing Rocky Mountains and see views of Clear Creek Canyon. Continue to Breckenridge where there is time to explore before arriving in Glenwood Springs. The hot springs have been welcoming visitors for over 125 years and are the world's largest. Accommodation this evening is in the Hotel Colorado that opened in 1893 and legend has it that the world's most irresistible toy, the teddy bear was born here after President Theodore Roosevelt stayed here. Includes Breakfast

DAY 4 : Glenwood Springs - Durango - Silverton Railway - Durango.

Continue on to Silverton, once a major mining town that owes it's name to the bragging statement made by an early miner: "We have no gold, but silver by the ton!". Board the narrow gauge Durango - Silverton Railroad for a scenic ride through San Juan National Forest. The legendary steam train hugs steep canyon walls as it winds it's way through Rio de las Animas Canyon with vistas of snowcapped peaks. Arrive in Durango, a town born in the Gold Rush and silver-mining era. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 5 : Durango.

This morning visit Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See Spruce Tree House, one of the best preserved cliff dwellings. Also visit the museum that explains the story of the people who once thrived on this 8,000ft plateau. Later, return to Durango where the rest of the day is at leisure. Enjoy time to explore the many shops on Main Street. Includes Breakfast

DAY 6 : Durango - Taos - Sante Fe.

Enter New Mexico and stop at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge, one of the highest in the U.S., before arriving in the adobe town of Taos at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains and enjoy a local favourtie visit to Taos Pueblo a UNESCO world heritage site. Continue to the charming of Santa Fe, the oldest seat of government in the United States. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 7 : Santa Fe.

Enjoy an included guided Trolley Tour of the many historic buildings showcasing the town's Spanish, Indian and American heritage. Sights include the San Miguel and Loretto Chapel's 'Miracle Stairway'. Continue to Chimayo, at the Rancho de Chimayo, located in a century old adobe home, serving some of the best New Mexican cuisine. Visit the Santuario de Chimayo and learn about the miraculous healing powers that attract pilgrims each year. Later, return to Sante Fe where the rest of the days is at leisure. Includes Breakfast, Lunch

DAY 8 : Sante Fe - Colorado Springs.

Enjoy a stop at the Royal Gorge Bridge en route to Colorado Springs. Walk across the the world's highest suspension bridge and marvel at the the rock walls that plunge more than 1,000ft to the Arkansas River. Includes Breakfast

DAY 9 : Colorado Springs - Denver.

This morning, take the Pikes Peak Cog Railway to the summit of 14,110ft Pikes Peak where Katharine Lee Bates was inspired to write America the Beautiful. There is time to explore Garden of the Gods, featuring towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of snowcapped Pikes Peak and brilliant blue skies. This evening enjoy a special farewell dinner hosted by your Tour Director. Includes Breakfast, Dinner

DAY 10 : Denver - UK.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK. Includes Breakfast

DAY 11 : Home landing the UK.
