DAY 1: UK - Dubrovnik - Korcula.
Fly to Dubrovnik where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel on the island of Korcula for three nights. (Meals as per hotel details).
DAY 2: Korcula excursion.
The heart of Korcula is a lush Mediterranean woodland of olive, fig and pine, laced with ripening vineyards and fragrant herbs. On today's full day excursion, drive across the island's beautiful interior, pausing to enjoy some of the small rustic villages, with their quaint old churches, rich heritage, lush woodland parks and spectacular coastal bays and coves. Your route takes in Zrnovo and Pupnat, as well as Cara and Smokvica where you can sample some delicious locally produced Posip at a wine tasting. Admire the lovely Baroque portico of All Saints Church in Blato before heading to Vela Luka, nestled in an amphitheatre bay on the western shores of the island and the island's largest town. After a visit to a popular gallery of Korculan authors and time to explore, return to Korcula Town. Your journey takes in the picturesque fishing villages of Grscica, Prizba and Brna and traverses the beautiful southern coast. Weather permitting, enjoy a a swim in one of the crystal clear bays on the way. (Meals as per hotel details).
DAY 3: Korcula.
Enjoy a full day at leisure in Korcula Town today. This medieval stone city is a treasure trove of historic sites and heritage. Why not explore the local area further, strolling around the Old Town to admire the hilltop St Mark's cathedral or the remaining towers of the old city walls? Or perhaps visit the fascinating city museum or the former home of Marco Polo. (Meals as per hotel details).
DAY 4: Korcula - Dubrovnik.
Depart Korcula today and head to the mainland for four nights in Dubrovnik. (Meals as per hotel details).
DAY 5: Dubrovnik.
After a morning at leisure, take in the sights of Dubrovnik on an included sightseeing tour with a local guide. Drive along the coastal highway for spectacular views of the old city walls, russet rooftops, pine forests and sparkling azure-blue harbour before continuing on foot to the city centre for an included walking tour. This ancient town, surrounded by fortifications, is packed with architectural and cultural treasures preserved over centuries. The city walk will take you to the Rectors' Palace and the Dominican Monastery with its 14th century pharmacy. (Meals as per hotel details).
DAY 6 to 7: Dubrovnik.
Famed for its beauty and rich cultural heritage, Dubrovnik is a sightseer's dream with countless churches, squares and museums to explore, together with plenty of pavement cafés, eateries and shops. Enjoy two full days at leisure to really make the most of this fascinating city. (Meals as per hotel details).
DAY 8: Dubrovnik - UK.
Transfer to Dubrovnik airport for your flight to the UK or extend your stay in Dubrovnik. (B)
