Your Itinerary
DAY 1: Dover, UK.
Make your way to Dover to join your cruise ship, Braemar. Latest embarkation time is 4pm. (D)
DAY 2: Ijmuiden (for Amsterdam).
Ijmuiden (for Amsterdam). After arriving in Ijmuiden this morning, enjoy free time to explore at your leisure or join the optional city and canals tour the best way to see the variety of gables, historic buildings including the Westerchurch and Twin Houses, and bridges such as the 'Skinny Bridge'. DAY 3: At sea.

DAY 4: Bergen.
Arrive in Bergen late evening. Bergen is the country's second largest city and gateway to the fjords. Join optional excursions to explore the ancient Bryggen area, with its beautifully preserved wooden Hanseatic buildings dating back to medieval times. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: Olden.
Sitting at the head of the spectacular inner arm of the Nordfjord, the charming and peaceful village of Olden enjoys a fairytale setting. The awe-inspiring scenery around the town seems to have fallen straight from the pages of a storybook, with lush green pastures, mirror-like glassy lakes and sparkling waterfalls cascading down from high ice fields. The most remarkable sight of all is the vast and spectacular glaciers, which are some of the largest in mainland Europe. Why not join an excursion to one of the glaciers such as Jostedal, Briksdal or Kjenndalen Glacier and Lovatnet Lake? (B, L, D)
DAY 6: Flam, Sognefjord.
Set on Sognefjord, the world's longest and deepest fjord, Flam Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty, with towering peaks and cascading waterfalls. To fully appreciate the magnificence of the region, why not take an optional scenic train journey? The train makes regular stops to allow you to take in the spectacular views. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: Stavanger.
A cosmopolitan city set on the southeast coast of Norway, Stavanger was the European Capital of Culture in 2008 and boasts charming traditional architecture, small, brightly coloured wooden houses and a bustling nightlife. Explore this interesting city at leisure, perhaps visiting Stavanger Domkirke, the oldest cathedral in Norway. (B, L, D)

Arrive in Dover and disembark after breakfast. (B)

Tipping
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines operate an automated tipping system whereby an amount of £4 per adult per day will be added to your on board account at the end of the cruise. Gratuities will be shared equally between the cabin stewardesses and dining room waiters. Anyone wishing to vary the amount will be able to do so via the Reception desk.
