Overall a good holiday. However, food was bad to start, although it did improve somewhat during the holiday - only average in all. We also had an early morning call by loud speaker every morning, telling us that breakfast would be served in about 15 mins (for a total of 90 mins), even if we were not getting off the boat until 15.00 hrs. This was completely unnecessary - more like Hi-Di-Hi!!. You couldn't avoid it even if you turned down the radio system as there were loud speakers in the corridor outside our cabin. We already knew when breakfast was and were quite capable of getting ourselves up in good time. Typical example - call at 07.15, breakfast at 07.30 to 09.00, arrival in Moscow at 15.00. Why not have a later breakfast?
The trip was well organised and included most of the places we wanted to visit.<br/>The talks and activities were interesting but we would also have liked information about the animals and plants we saw as we sailed towards Moscow.
