DAY 1: UK - Sharm el Sheikh - Naama Bay.
Fly to Sharm el Sheikh where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Naama Bay for one night. (D)
DAY 2: Naama Bay - Nuweiba - Aqaba.
Part of Sharm el Sheikh, lively Naama Bay lies between the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Aqaba and the dusky red mountains of Egypt's Sinai Desert. This morning, leave this beautiful area behind and head northwards to Nuweiba, another resort overlooking the Gulf, which is said to be the site of the Crossing of the Red Sea, when Moses parted the waves for the fleeing Israelites. Here, enjoy a short ferry ride over the Gulf to the Jordanian port and beach resort of Aqaba and transfer to your hotel for two nights. (B, D)
DAY 3: Aqaba - Petra - Aqaba.
Today brings a highlight of your tour, with a full day visit to the 'rose red city' of Petra. Tucked deep into Wadi Araba, a desert valley running between the Red Sea and Dead Sea, this incredible city was built by the Nabateans over 2,000 years ago and more than deserves its UNESCO World Heritage status. Your approach to it only adds to the thrill as you step through the 'Siq', a dark, narrow gorge in the surrounding cliffs. The final turn provides an unforgettable, sunlit glimpse of Petra's showpiece - the breathtaking pink-coloured 'Treasury' or 'Khasneh'. Wonder at its ornate façade of columns and carvings before heading further into the valley to see more of Petra's treasures and rock-cut buildings seemingly untouched by time. Take in the Street of the Facades, enormous cliffside Monastery and the Royal Tombs before pausing at the city's Roman relics, built in the 1st century AD. See the crumbled columns of Colonnade Street and the magnificent Roman theatre, where 33 rows of rose-pink seats are cut into a rock face. Later, return to your hotel in Aqaba. (B, D)
DAY 4: Aqaba - Nuweiba - Naama Bay.
Enjoy free time this morning to get a flavour of Aqaba or relax at your hotel before catching the ferry back to Nuweiba. Soak up the sunshine on deck and watch for dolphins as you glide across the Red Sea waters. After arriving in Nuweiba, transfer to Naama Bay for a four-night stay. (B, D)
DAY 5 to 7: Naama Bay at leisure.
Enjoy three full days to relax and make the most of Naama Bay and its beautiful natural surroundings. Lounge by the pool at your hotel or sunbathe or snorkel from any of the nearby Red Sea beaches, where the clear waters are home to dazzling coral reefs and a rich array of marine life. Perhaps try your hand at scuba diving or join one of the many optional excursions on offer. Why not venture into the rugged Sinai desert or visit historic gems such as St Catherine's Monastery, the magnificent 6th century shrine near Mount Sinai where the Bible says Moses received the Ten Commandments? Naama Bay and Sharm el Sheikh also offer a great mix of shops, restaurants and nightlife. Browse for Bedouin trinkets in old Sharm's bazaar, pick up bargains in the modern shopping malls and take time out in Naama's restaurants, bars and shisha lounges. (B, D)
DAY 8: Naama Bay - Sharm el Sheikh - UK.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK. (B)

VISA REQUIREMENTS
A tour visa for Egypt and Jordan is required, which is issued on arrival, is included in the price of the holiday for all UK passport holders and for those nationalities whose Governments enjoy the same type of agreement with Egypt and Jordan. All non UK passport holders should check visa requirements prior to travel.
