The Mayan Trail tour

24/03/2016

We enjoyed the Mayan Trail tour.  Our tour guide was excellent and very informative.  He looked after everyone very well.

The food was a bit repetitive on the first week - either chicken, pork or fish every day.  A bit more variety would have been nice.

The only drawback was at the last hotel where there was a distinct lack of tables and chairs to sit at outside.  There were plenty of sofas etc., inside but if one wanted to sit in the sun and have a coffee and read a book there was nowhere to do that.  The only place was on the sunbeds but they can become very uncomfortable if one uses them for any length of time.  Tables and chairs would have been so much easier and more comfortable.

Ours was a good group and everyone got on really well.  All in all a good holiday.
