Your Itinerary

DAY 1: UK - Venice.

Fly to Venice where you will be met and transferred to your ship for embarkation. Enjoy a welcome cocktail party and dinner as your ship cruises towards 7 Martyrs Quay, close to St Mark's Square. (D)

DAY 2: Venice.

This morning, enjoy breakfast on board as you cruise on the Lagoon, before returning to Venice at Midday for lunch. This afternoon perhaps join an optional excursion to colourful Burano, renowned for its lacemaking, and the glass-blowing island of Murano. Alternatively, enjoy free time in Venice to discover its exquisite piazzas, churches and canals. (B, L, D)

DAY 3: Venice.

This morning, enjoy an optional excursion to magnificent Doge's Palace. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to explore the splendid museums and shopping opportunities that this historic city has to offer. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: Venice - Chioggia area - Venice.

Enjoy breakfast as you cross the Bay of Venice and sail to Chioggia, a picturesque town laced with canals, where there will be free time to explore on your own. This afternoon, an optional excursion heads for Padua - a medieval gem famous for its St Anthony's Basilica and Old Town, with its iconic Pedrocchi coffee house. Enjoy a gala dinner on board this evening. (B, L, D)

DAY 5: Venice - UK.

After breakfast, disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK. (B)

Equipped with the most modern technologies, the fully air-conditioned MS Michelangelo accommodates 158 passengers in 78 cabins. Each passenger cabin is well designed in a bright, airy style, creating an atmosphere of security and comfort. Please note that most of the guiding is done by satellite navigation and is available in English; the crew will also translate any announcements into English.

Dining

Your cruise includes full board. The dining room is large enough to accommodate all passengers in one sitting. Breakfasts are buffet style, while lunch and dinner have set menus, usually including a choice of regional specialities and traditional favourites. Aperitifs, coffee and digestifs are available in the lounge bar. Vegetarian meals and any special dietary requirements should be requested at the time of booking. There is an evening programme of entertainment and a welcome cocktail on the first night. While on board you will be looked after by the ship's hostess and purser.

Cabins

All outside cabins have twin or double beds; air-conditioning/climate control; satellite TV; radio; hairdryer; safety deposit box; shower and wc; and large picture window. Your holiday price includes a twin main deck cabin, or you may choose to upgrade.
