Single Travellers
Many of our holidays are perfect for single travellers. Whether you choose the sociable atmosphere of a coach tour, or choose to relax in one of our comfortable hotels, you'll never feel lonely or left out. Our friendly Tour Director or representative will be on hand to help you get to know your fellow holidaymakers and have a great time. Many of our single customers have told us they even keep in touch with newfound friends long after their holiday is over.
Single Travellers - Share a Room & Save!
We are one of the few tour operators to offer a Single Share Option on most of our touring holidays. This gives you the chance not only to avoid single supplements, but also to enjoy the company of a traveling companion.
The idea is simple. Your Tour Director will introduce you to another traveller of the same gender who is willing to share a room. If there's nobody available to share, we'll waive the single supplement anyway. Please see the relevant tour pages for details. Of course, if you prefer, you can book a single room, either by taking advantage of our ‘no single supplements' offers or by paying the applicable single supplement (see below in ‘No hidden extras').
Single Travellers - No Single Supplements
That's not all. We have negotiated with selected hoteliers to waive the single supplement that is usually charged, meaning that having a room all to yourself will not necessarily cost you more. The following hotels have participated either throughout the season or on selected departures:

- Monumental Lido in Madeira
- Apollon in Corfu
Single Travellers - No Hidden Extras
Unfortunately, in some cases single supplements are unavoidable, as some hotels charge for the room rather than per person. Many holiday companies simply disguise them within the overall price, but at Archers Direct we show any applicable supplements clearly, to help you make an informed choice.
Single Travellers - Year Round Departures
Our single customers also tell us how important it is to have the flexibility to travel at any time of the year. That's one of the reasons we offer an extensive range of departure dates right through the year.
Single Travellers - Included Excursions
All our touring holidays feature a range of included excursions – from exciting sightseeing to fun evenings out. It's great to share the experience of visiting a famous location or to enjoy a group visit to a local restaurant or dinner show. Such experiences make for wonderful holiday memories that last a lifetime.
