


Archers Direct launches new Worldwide 2005 Brochure
Introducing new tours for single travellers and new long haul touring holidays

Leading direct sell escortred touring specialist Archers Direct has launched its second edition Worldwide brochure January 2005-April 2006 with a choice of touring, twin centre, resort stay, cruising and special interest holidays worldwide. New for 2005 is a selection of tours dedicated to single travellers with departures to both Europe and North America as well as new long haul touring holidays.
Tours for single travellers are offered on a selection of the operator’s seven most popular itineraries ranging from the ‘Prague, Vienna & Budapest’ or 'Treasures of Italy' in Europe to the ‘Eastern USA & Niagara Falls’ on the east to the ‘The Golden West’ on North America’s west coast. Each departure includes a ‘get-together drink’ and additional included excursions as standard. Prices for the seven night Prague, Vienna and Budapest tours with selected departures in June and October start from £509 on twin share basis
New for the second edition brochure are a range of long haul touring holidays to add to the existing worldwide choice. Brand new tours include 'South American Dream' (11 days form £1349), 'Wonders of China & the Mighty Yangtze' (15 days from £1371), 'Highlights of Jordan'(8 days from £899) and the 'Glories of the Nile' cruise (8 day cruise from £605) .'Peru & the Treasures of the Incas' and a 'Taste of China' are just two other long haul touring holidays introduced for 2005.
Also new for 2005, for clients wanting to upgrade their touring experience to the ultimate in coaching comfort, the ‘Platinum Tourer’ has been introduced on a selection of departures on the most popular European tours. A range of additional in-coach comforts and benefits are offered for just £79 per person including adjustable leather seats, the latest audio/visual system, personal audio headsets, extra legroom, lounge area, toilet/washroom, hot/cold drinks facilities and a satellite navigation display.
For 2005, Archers Direct is offering booking on-line in four easy steps, the opportunity to create your own instant e-brochures or choose from a range of ready-made e-brochures. By registering for Archers regular email newsletters, clients can win fantastic competition prizes, read interesting destination features or take advantage of the special offers.
Introduced in 2004, Archers Direct is again offering a choice of special interest holidays including themed walking, gardens and music holidays with 'Madeira' and the musical 'Prague, Vienna and Budapest' itineraries new for 2005. With the growing trend to take more short breaks than ever before, the range has been extended to include five-day trips to Venice, Florence and Budapest with prices starting from just £279 per person for the Venice short break.
Also new for 2005 is the range of 'Holidays Without Flights' to allow customers the choice to make their own travel arrangements with flexibility either side to visit friends and family or do anything else that they choose before or after their holiday ends. Available on selected holidays this is offered by way of a reduction off the holiday price.
New European Leisurely tours include the 'Discover Northern Portugal & the Douro Valley' (8 days from £469), 'Discover Medieval Italy'(8 days from £499), 'Discover Sicily' (8 days from £535) and 'Amalfi Coast, Ravello & the Bay of Ulysses' (8 days from £529).
