Archers Direct launches Earlybird 2006 Brochure with increased long haul selection
Leading direct sell operator, Archers Direct, is announcing the launch of its Earlybird 2006 brochure with a range of its best selling escorted tours, a new long haul selection and free travel insurance.

New long haul tours include the 16 day ‘South American Highlights’ (from £2089), and the 23 day ‘Trans American Adventure’ (from £1589). Also included are two itineraries of China, currently Archers Direct’s best selling long haul tour. The 15 day ‘China and Yangtze River Cruise’ is priced from £1388 and the 18 day ‘China and the Middle Kingdom’ leads in at £1484.
Said Paul Jolliffe, Archers Direct Managing Director: "We have received feedback from our customers that they want escorted touring holidays to more long haul destinations and I am delighted that our programme for next year will include a new expanded collection. With many of our customers having enjoyed holidays with us to both Europe and North America, it was the logical next step for us to expand our programme to other long haul destinations.”
Prices in the new Archers Direct USA, Canada & Worldwide Earlybird 2006 brochure lead in at £615 per person for the 9 day ‘San Francisco and Las Vegas’ two centre holiday and includes flights, accommodation, transfers and the services of a local tour director. The 9 day ‘Eastern USA and Niagara Falls’ fully escorted tour leads in at £715 per person. Currently one of Archers Direct’s most popular North American tours - the 8 day ‘Elvis and the Southern Sounds’ - leads in at £879.
Other long haul escorted touring itineraries include the 8 day ‘Highlights of Jordan’ from £899 and the 21 day ‘Best of Australia’ from £2199.
The increase in the value of sterling versus the US Dollar and the negotiating power of the Cosmos group has enabled Archers Direct to offer many tours for 2006 at prices even lower than in 2005.
Featuring 31 of Archers Direct’s best selling tours, cruises and resort holidays, this edition offers UK regional connecting flights to Heathrow from just £15 per person on most dates from eight regional airports.
