DAY 1: UK - Rome.
Fly to Rome where you will be transferred to your hotel for one night.
DAY 2: Rome - Civitavecchia.
This morning enjoy an included sightseeing tour of Rome, including Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum and Colosseum. This afternoon, transfer to the port of Civitavecchia to embark your cruise ship. (B, D)

DAY 4: Dubrovnik.
Dubbed the 'Pearl of the Adriatic' and girded by massive walls, the glorious medieval city of Dubrovnik is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its beauty. This well-preserved town boasts narrow streets, quaint squares and graceful palaces. Enjoy an optional tour taking in the city's 13th century Pile Gate, elegant Sponza Palace, Dominican church and monastery, handsome Rector's Palace, Church of St Blaise and Stradun main thoroughfare. DAY 5: Corfu.
One of the most beautiful Greek Ionian islands, Corfu boasts a captivating capital, Corfu Town, overlooked by two massive fortresses. Explore the tangled streets of its Venetian old quarter or take an optional excursion to the lavish mansion and gardens of Achillion Palace, set in the island's lush interior, followed by views of the Convent of Vlacherna and Mouse Island from Kanoni and a stroll in Corfu Town to admire St Spiridon Church. DAY 6: Katakolon (for Olympia).
On the western shores of the Peloponnese, Katakolon is the gateway to ancient Olympia, the site of the first Olympic Games. Join the optional excursion to this ancient jewel to see the remains of the 2,000 year-old stadium where 40,000 spectators once cheered athletes competing in circuit races and field sports, marvel at the crumbled 5th century Temple of Zeus, once a mighty Doric-style temple, and visit Olympia village. DAY 7: Santorini.
Santorini's beautiful bay was formed by a volcanic eruption in 1500BC and is flanked by cliffs crowned by dazzling white houses. Choose from a range of optional excursions, perhaps visiting Oia, the island's prettiest town, to admire the views and see the famed blue-domed churches and labyrinthine cobbled lanes before walking the spectacular cliffside road in Fira before taking the cable car back to your ship. DAY 8: Kusadasi.
Set on Turkey's Aegean Coast, Kusadasi is just a short drive from Ephesus, one of the world's best-preserved classical cities. Join the optional trip to explore Ephesus, believed to have been the Hittite city of Apasa. Stroll its colonnaded marble streets, see the stunning Celsus Library and marvel at the Odeion, the amphitheatre where political meetings were held. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: Piraeus (for Athens).
Why not join the optional tour of the legendary city of Athens today? View the splendid Parthenon of its Acropolis, Constitution Square, Plaka district and Hadrian's Arch, a gift to Athens from the Roman Emperor. Alternatively, join an excursion to the Corinth Canal, the incredible four-mile channel connecting the Ionian and Aegean Seas, followed by a visit to Corinth to view the Greek and Roman architectural ruins of this once thriving city including the Basilica and racetrack. Or perhaps visit Mycenae, one of Greece's finest treasures to view enthralling ruins such as the famed Lion's Gate and Beehive Tomb. (B, L, D)

DAY 11: Messina.
Steeped in history, Messina is one of Sicily's most colourful towns. Enjoy a choice of optional excursions such as a visit to Mount Etna, Europe's biggest and most active volcano. Pass through dramatic lava-coated landscapes and journey by road up Etna's scenic slopes, admiring spectacular landscapes before reaching the mighty Silvestri Crater. Located at 6,000 feet, this epic crater is still riven by lava flows from the volcano's 1983 and 2001 eruptions. (B, L, D)
DAY 12: Civitavecchia - Rome - UK.
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport in Rome for your flight to the UK. (B)
