DAY 1: UK - Honolulu.
Fly to Honolulu where you will be greeted with a lei of fresh flowers, the traditional aloha of Hawaii, and transferred to your hotel for two nights.
DAY 2-3: Honolulu, Oahu.
Explore the vibrant city of Honolulu, with its warm sparkling waters, vast golden sand beaches, and cultural, historical and scenic highlights. Why not feed the dolphins at the Sea Life Park or visit the Polynesian Cultural Centre? Visit Pearl Harbour, site of the dramatic Japanese air attack in 1941 that drew the USA into World War II or explore downtown Honolulu at leisure. In the evening of day 3 you will be transferred to your cruise ship, Pride of America. Enjoy dinner on board and sail overnight towards Kahului.
DAY 4-5: Kahului, Maui.
Arrive in Kahului early on day 4. The bustling harbour is minutes away from some of the island's most scenic spots. Visit the Iao Valley State Park and the Maui Tropical Plantation, or play the world-renowned golf links at nearby Kapalua. Alternatively visit Lahaina, once a whaling centre and capital of the Hawaiian monarchy, on the shores of West Maui, with dozens of boutiques, shops, restaurants and historical sites. Continue sailing in the evening of day 5. (B, L, D)
DAY 6: Hilo, Hawaii.
Arrive in Hilo after breakfast. Set on Hilo Bay's crescent shaped shore, this beautiful port is an exotic greenhouse of lush tropical plants and abundant waterfalls. Hilo is the gateway to the Volcanoes National Park, a natural wonderland and site of the vast Kilauea Crater, the world's most active volcano and home of the Hawaiian fire goddess Pele. Snow-capped Mauna Kea and Kilauea Crater tower dramatically over the island of Hawaii. In the evening, enjoy a scenic cruise past Mount Kilauea and continue overnight to Kona. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: Kona, Hawaii.
Arrive in Kona early in the morning. Playground of the Big Island, Kona is best known for its famous coffee plantations, but is also steeped in history and legend. Visit Kealakekua Bay, where Captain James Cook anchored, and later died, and the Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, a famous 'Place of Refuge' and one of the most authentic and well-preserved archaeological sites in Hawaii. Later, enjoy free time to explore, perhaps visiting a coffee plantation or discovering the marine life on an Atlantis submarine, glass bottom boat or snorkelling excursion from one of the many beaches. DAY 8-9: Nawiliwili, Kauai.
In the morning of day 8, arrive in Nawiliwili on the verdant and lush island of Kauai, considered the sacred 'Garden Island' and Hawaii's oldest inhabited island. See the 10 mile long, 3,600 feet deep Waimea Canyon, known as the 'Grand Canyon of the Pacific', where a unique combination of water, sunshine, clouds and canyon walls create countless brightly coloured rainbows. Enjoy an optional visit to the Kauai National Botanical Gardens, one of the world's premiere botanical research institutions, or a helicopter flight over the breathtaking Na Pali coastline with its waterfalls, canyons and secluded beaches. In the afternoon of day 9, enjoy a scenic cruise along the Na Pali Coast. (B, L, D)
DAY 10: Honolulu, Oahu.
After breakfast, disembark and transfer to your hotel, where you will have the day at leisure to relax on Waikiki beach or explore Honolulu further. (B)
DAY 11: Honolulu - UK.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK.
DAY 12: Home landing in the UK.
