Holiday Itinerary
DAY 1: Depart UK.
Overnight flight to Nairobi.
DAY 2: Arrive Nairobi.
On arrival in Nairobi you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 3: Nairobi - Aberdare National Park.
After breakfast head for the Aberdare National Park, part of the Aberdare mountain range, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch at the Aberdare Country Club, the lodges own transport will take you to The Ark (please limit your luggage to an overnight bag, the remainder can be stored at the Aberdare Country Club). The Ark is a unique lodge overlooking a floodlit water hole and saltlick, where elephant, rhino and leopard have been sighted. The lodge's observation platform provides excellent views of the animals. The afternoon is at leisure. (B, L, D)
DAY 4: Aberdare National Park - Samburu Game Reserve.
After breakfast your remaining luggage will be collected before driving north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve. The afternoon game drives through the arid landscape give the opportunity to spot Reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, elephant, lion, crocodile and the blue-legged Somali Ostrich. Two overnights at the lodge. (B, L, D)
DAY 5: Samburu Game Reserve.
Early morning and afternoon game drives are likely to bring sightings of game rarely seen elsewhere. (B, L, D)
DAY 6: Samburu Game Reserve - Mount Kenya.
After breakfast drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya, arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon is spent at leisure enjoying the various facilities at the Mount Kenya Safari Club where you will overnight. (B, L, D)
DAY 7: Mount Kenya - Masai Mara.
After breakfast transfer to the Nanyuki air strip for your flight by light aircraft to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Transfer to the Masai Safari Club for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through one of the world's greatest game reserves. The Masai Mara comprising over 1,672 square kilometres of acacia spotted savannah and rolling hill country, is home to a splendid array of wildlife including lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, buffalo, zebra and rhino. In the autumn you may witness the stunning migration of herds of wildebeest and zebra. (B, L, D)
DAY 8: Masai Mara.
Optional early morning game drive before breakfast, then the rest of the morning at leisure, giving you time to relax in the lodge. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive. (B, L, D)
DAY 9: Masai Mara - Nairobi - UK or Mombasa Beach.
After breakfast fly by light aircraft to Nairobi before returning to the UK or flying to Mombasa and your chosen beach hotel. (B)
DAY 10-15: Beach Hotel.
Spend a week relaxing on the Kenya Coast.
DAY 16: Mombasa - UK.
Transfer to Mombasa airport for your overnight flight to the UK.
DAY 17: Home landing in the UK.

Safari Information
On our safaris there is a maximum of seven passengers per safari bus and the vehicle is specially designed so that you have the best possible view from each seat.
You will stay in the excellent Safari Lodges which will be as specified or similar. Occasionally it may be necessary to accommodate guests in 'Tented Camps', which offer similar standards and facilities as the Safari Lodges.
We recommend that you take comfortable clothing and sensible shoes, binoculars and a good camera with plenty of film.
It may occasionally be necessary to amend itineraries due to adverse weather conditions.
Note: You may take only one piece of small luggage on safari, as there is insufficient room in safari vehicles to carry all luggage. If you have booked a Mombasa beach stay at the end of your safari, any extra luggage must be in a locked suitcase that will be stored in Nairobi whilst you are on safari.
Visa Requirement
A visa is required for entry into Kenya currently costing £35. This may be purchased prior to departure or on arrival in Kenya.
