French Panorama
14 DAYS FROM £1065

This holiday has departures available between: 28th Sep 2010 to 18th Oct 2011
641Mr & Mrs TomsCornwall We have just returned from an excellent touring holiday - French Panorama. The Coach was excellent, only 6 months old and the driver was very competent and obliging.

We have no hesitation in wishing to book again through Archers Direct, the tours in Scandinavia, Germany and Portugal all look good.

641Ron PullingBexleyheath Once again I must write on behalf of my wife and myself to thank you for another wonderful holiday.

The tour itinerary was really excellent. The tour manager, Simeon, had an extensive knowledge of all the places the tour covered and both the coach drivers, Lionel and Michael, were very safe and careful drivers, knew the best routes and all the team were fun to be with. Our thanks to them all for making it such a memorable holiday.

We learnt quite a lot about French history and culture and we were particularly interested in seeing two of the allied invasion beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry, the ancient walled cities and towns of Mont St Michel, La Rochelle, Rocamadour, Carcassonne and St Paul de Vence. It was also great to see the well know Riviera area of Cannes, Nice and Monte Carlo.

All the other cities and towns outlined in the itinerary were also of particular interest, especially those with Roman history, Aix-en-Provence and Paris with all its historic cathedrals, buildings and areas.

Our two favourite meals on the optional excursions were the regional Loire dinner at the restaurant "Leonardo da Vinci" and the farewell dinner in Paris which, although very noisy, was great.

Once again thank you very much for such a memorable holiday, which covered the various departments of France.

641Mr GoodacreLeicester Yesterday I returned from the above tour and am writing to express my appreciation of the services rendered by the above named tour director (Mr Phil Taylor).

This was the third time that I have been on an Archers Tour and whilst previous directors carried out duties in an adequate fashion, their efforts paled into insignificance when compared to Mr Taylor - he was even on hand when I required medicine for a chest infection.
