Holiday Itinerary
DAY 1: UK - Prague.
Fly to Prague and make your own way to your hotel for a three night stay. Alternatively, a transfer is available at a supplement and should be pre-booked prior to departure.
DAY 2: Prague. At leisure or optional city sightseeing tour.
The beautiful city of Prague, with its cobblestone streets and gleaming spires, has some of the best-preserved historic architecture and landmarks in the world, not to mention a lively, friendly atmosphere and plenty of great-value bars and restaurants. It also has a rich musical heritage and is the former home of Dvorak and Smetana, two of the world's greatest composers. Spend the day at leisure, taking in the sights of this beautiful city - stroll along the banks of the mighty Vltava River, relax at an outdoor restaurant, or go shopping for hand-cut crystal or art books. Why not take our optional half day guided sightseeing tour (this is available at a supplement and should be pre-booked prior to departure) which features visits to landmarks such as the National Theatre, Belvedere, the Charles Bridge, the Old Town Hall with its famous Astronomical Clock and the Prague Castle area. This introduction will whet your appetite to see more of Prague at your own pace. (B)
DAY 3: Prague. At leisure.
A full day to explore this captivating city. Why not pay a visit to the ancient quarter of Mala Strana, with its great choice of restaurants, pubs and cafés? The Old Jewish Quarter is certainly worth a visit and, of course, there's Wenceslas Square, a great place to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. (B)
DAY 4: Prague - UK.
Make your own way back to Prague airport for your flight to the UK. Alternatively, a transfer is available at a supplement and should be pre-booked prior to departure. (B)
