Discover South Africa

The Falls were amazing, and our visit to the Mukuni Village will never be forgotten. The people of Zambia were so friendly, and all our tours went ahead, despite the Zambezi being in flood.
We saw all the big five on our first safari in Kruger, and many more on the second safari. It's wonderful to see such beautiful wild animals in their natural habitat. Swaziland was beautiful, and South Africa is breathtaking in its beauty culture and history. Excellent local guides too.
with your company. We have previously been to Kenya & done a Safari but this holiday was "THE BEST".
We were a small group of friendly people, which made travelling very comfortable and pleasant as we had plenty of room. The hotels and food were good and the guides we had were absolutely brilliant. They were passionate about their country and their wild life.
Our trips in the Kruger Park and Hluhluwe were superb. The animals were so close to us. The scenery round the Garden Route was spectacular, especially Knysna.
Thank you for an excellent holiday. We would recommend it and Archers to our friends.
Then 9 months ago, I met a new gentleman who loves travelling like me and he had always wanted to visit South Africa and that we would include a safari.
I will never forget our first trip through Kruger National Park in the afternoon on our way to our hotel by coach to Malale Lodge. This elephant on the grass verge, we stopped right next to him, the photo was taken from the coach hence the white line, he didn't bat an eyelid. The thrill of getting up at 4.30am for an early morning safari made us very excited. The rangers are always in touch and let each other know of sightings, imagine our excitement when our ranger turned round and raced like mad to show us something special and there lying in the road was this lion fast asleep oblivious to all around him. That for me was one of the highlights of the tour.
I found the whole visit very exciting, made all the more interesting by our guides Linda and Chris from Atlas Springbok. The trip down the Garden Route to Cape Town and the breathtaking scenery, the trip up Table Mountain and the visit to the Shanty Towns by a superb guide from Africa Roots who lived through apartheid was very enlightening and I feel I know more about Apartheid and South Africa than before I visited.
By the way my partner is 78years and I am 69 years. We are off on your Trans Canada Explorer tour on the 25 th April, can't wait if its exciting as the last tour.
With a wonderful blend of race and cultures, climate and topography, South Africa offers incredible wildlife, traditional hospitality, sophisticated cities, unforgettable scenery and a sunny climate.
