Private home pick-up service

Our private home pick-up service is included up to 50 miles to your departure airport. Your driver will happily load and unload your luggage, and drive you to your departure terminal. At the close of your trip, you'll be welcomed by your driver in the arrivals hall and returned home again. A supplement is payable per mile over 50 miles.

I would have given five if we had been booked on earlier flight - we spent 6 hours at Nante Airport. Boat was lovely and fascinating because of the paddle wheel.

UK - Nantes


Travel to Nantes where you will be met and transferred to your ship for embarkation. Perhaps join the optional cruise excursion along the Erdre, “the prettiest river in France” according to Francois I. Discover the history of this river and its many castles as you cruise along.

Nantes - Saint Nazaire


After breakfast, join an optional guided visit of Nantes and stroll along the winding streets of the Bouffay medieval quarter to the flamboyant Gothic Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul. Next, visit Feydeau Island, a former island now joined to the rest of the town and a superb example of 18th-century architecture. On the quays, explore the shopping area around the Graslin Theatre and the famous 'Passage Pommeraye' shopping mall before visiting the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany. This Breton monument houses a residential palace with elegant facades and loggias dating from the Renaissance period. After dinner back on board, set sail for Saint-Nazaire.

Saint Nazaire - Ancenis


Take an optional tour of Saint-Nazaire, a commune in western France framed with quaint fishing cabins. Begin with a visit to the museum Escal'Atlantic, housed in former German World War Two submarine pens, to explore the historic ocean liner experience. Head to Saint-Nazaire shipyard, one of the largest in Europe, recognised the world over for its shipbuilding know-how. Alternatively, visit the medieval city of Guérande, overlooking the salt marshes, the undisputed symbol of the region.

Ancenis - Bouchemaine


Today, perhaps visitthe town of Angers, capital of the Anjou region on an optional excursion. You will visit the fortress from the 13th century and see the Apocalypse tapestry, which is the most important set of medieval tapestries still in existence in the world today. Alternatively, visit Chateau de Brissac and the castle cellars with a wine tasting.

Bouchemaine - Châteaux of the Loire


A full day optional visit the chateaux of the Loire Valley. Drive to the elegant Château Azay-le-Rideau, a historic UNESCO monument, built on an island in the middle of the Indre. Visit the grand country house of Villandry and wander the incredible gardens. After lunch, head to Rigny-Ussé to visit the fairytale-like Ussé Castle, built in the 15th and 16th centuries and believed to have inspired Charles Perrault to write 'The Sleeping Beauty'.

Cabins on this ship

The cabins all offer guests the perfect view from either their private balcony or large picture window, and are very spacious and tastefully decorated with the option of double or single beds. An ensuite is provided with shower, W.C. and a hairdryer. For extra comfort central heating is available during the Winter season and air-conditioning for the Summer season.

For your entertainment a satellite tv and radio are provided for you to use at your leisure.

Age Restriction

Reservations from minors shall not be accepted by the travel agency but must be made by the parents or other adults of more than 18 years of age with the necessary authorisations. Minors of under 18 years of age are not permitted to travel on board unaccompanied. They must be accompanied by parents or adults of more than 18 years of age. No alcoholic beverages shall be served to minors on board. Proof of the customer’s age may be requested by the ship’s personnel. 

Disabled Facilities

All passengers are required to be medically, physically and/or mentally fit to undertake a trip without endangering their life or the life of others. No medical services are offered aboard the ships. Any passenger with a physical or mental incapacity, limited capacity of mobility, having an illness requiring treatment or medical care, or pregnant women should inform the travel agent at the time of booking. No reservations can be accepted for passengers whose physical or mental condition is likely to render their participation in the cruise or in the vacation impossible or dangerous for themselves or others, or who require forms of care or assistance impossible to guarantee aboard ship, notably because of unsuitable infrastructure. Some suppliers (hoteliers, airlines and cruise companies, etc) may require a medical certificate confirming that the passenger is fit to travel or they may refuse to accept the booking if they feel that they will be unable to guarantee any assistance or treatment deemed necessary for the health and well-being of the passenger. Participation in the voyage and in excursions is subject to the condition of the passenger having sufficient mobility. If necessary, the disabled may be accompanied at their own expense to obtain the required assistance. All personal accidents, diversions or forced stopover costs disrupting the course of the cruise shall be at the liability of the passenger having concealed his unfitness to travel.

Dress Code

Casual and comfortable during the day. More elegant clothing may be worn in the evening. It is recommended that the wearing of footwear suitable for life aboard and for excursions with non-slip soles.

Smoking Policy

For the safety and comfort of all passengers, most ships do still allow smoking on board, but you will find this is restricted to designated areas around the ship.

Please advise the reservation agent at time of booking of any special dietary requirements you may have and they will make every effort to accommodate your request.
