Our VIP home pick-up service is included up to 50 miles to your departure airport. Your driver will happily load and unload your luggage, and drive you to your departure terminal. At the close of your trip, you'll be welcomed by your driver in the arrivals hall and returned home again. A supplement is payable per mile over 50 miles.

Travel to Amsterdam where you will be met and transferred to your ship for embarkation. Later, perhaps join an optional riverboat tour of old Amsterdam before rejoining your ship and cruising overnight to Kinderdijk.

Kinderdijk - Nijmegen

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kinderdijk boasts the world's largest concentration of windmills, all dating back to the 18th century. Today, why not join the optional excursion to see these fascinating wooden structures and learn how they helped to control flooding of the surrounding lowlands? Later, rejoin your ship before cruising to Nijmegen.

Nijmegen - Cologne

With a past stretching back to Roman times, Nijmegen is the Netherlands' oldest town and offers narrow streets and gabled mansions set around a charming main square. This morning, explore at leisure or perhaps join the optional excursion to the Kröller-Müller art museum. Set in the beautiful Hoge Veluwe National Park, this superb gallery hosts a stellar collection of 19th and 20th century works by Van Gogh, Seurat and Picasso. After lunch, sail towards Cologne, relaxing on deck and enjoying views of medieval riverside towns on the way.

Cologne - Koblenz

2,000-year old Cologne is Germany's fourth largest city and is famed for its spectacular, twin-spired Dom, an incredible Gothic cathedral that dominates its skyline. Today, you may wish to take the optional guided tour of this vibrant city, which is the capital of the Rhine region. Marvel at the filigree stonework of the Dom, stroll through the quaint old town to see the Town Hall and Jewish Quarter or sample a cold glass of 'Kölsch' in a traditional beer cellar. This afternoon, rejoin your ship and set sail for Koblenz.

Koblenz - Rüdesheim - Boppard

Today, enjoy views of picturebook castles, medieval villages and terraced vineyards as your ship glides towards Rüdesheim along the Rhine Valley - a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002. Have your camera ready as you pass the Lorelei Rock, which legend says is home to a siren who's sweet song has drawn many sailors to their doom. After docking at Rüdesheim, the afternoon is yours to discover this half-timbered, old-world town and its famous Drosselgasse or join the optional excursion to Siegfried's Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum to see its collections of quirky instruments and sample some local wines. Next, your cruise continues to Boppard. Once one of the most important settlements on the Rhine, this historic town bears many reminders of its imperial past so is well worth exploring on an optional visit after dinner.

Boppard - Düsseldorf

Enjoy the beautiful scenery this morning as you sail to Düsseldorf. This sophisticated metropolis combines a delightful old quarter with avant-garde architecture, gleaming skyscrapers and designer shops. Explore at your own pace this afternoon or choose an optional walking tour to see its cobbled 'Altstadt' old town and chic Königsallee shopping avenue.

Cruise to Amsterdam today and perhaps join the afternoon optional city tour to get a closer look at the 'Venice of the North'. Tonight, enjoy a goodbye gala dinner and entertainment on board.

Life on board

Age Restriction

Reservations from minors shall not be accepted by the travel agency but must be made by the parents or other adults of more than 18 years of age with the necessary authorisations. Minors of under 18 years of age are not permitted to travel on board unaccompanied. They must be accompanied by parents or adults of more than 18 years of age. No alcoholic beverages shall be served to minors on board. Proof of the customer’s age may be requested by the ship’s personnel. 

Disabled Facilities

All passengers are required to be medically, physically and/or mentally fit to undertake a trip without endangering their life or the life of others. No medical services are offered aboard the ships. Any passenger with a physical or mental incapacity, limited capacity of mobility, having an illness requiring treatment or medical care, or pregnant women should inform the travel agent at the time of booking. No reservations can be accepted for passengers whose physical or mental condition is likely to render their participation in the cruise or in the vacation impossible or dangerous for themselves or others, or who require forms of care or assistance impossible to guarantee aboard ship, notably because of unsuitable infrastructure. Some suppliers (hoteliers, airlines and cruise companies, etc) may require a medical certificate confirming that the passenger is fit to travel or they may refuse to accept the booking if they feel that they will be unable to guarantee any assistance or treatment deemed necessary for the health and well-being of the passenger. Participation in the voyage and in excursions is subject to the condition of the passenger having sufficient mobility. If necessary, the disabled may be accompanied at their own expense to obtain the required assistance. All personal accidents, diversions or forced stopover costs disrupting the course of the cruise shall be at the liability of the passenger having concealed his unfitness to travel.

Dress Code

Casual and comfortable during the day. More elegant clothing may be worn in the evening. It is recommended that the wearing of footwear suitable for life aboard and for excursions with non-slip soles.

Smoking Policy

For the safety and comfort of all passengers, most ships do still allow smoking on board, but you will find this is restricted to designated areas around the ship.

All the way forward Middle Deck is the Main Lounge. Featuring 180-degree panoramic windows that look out on the stunning scenery passing by and with a full-service bar, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy newfound company. The Lounge also features a dance floor that becomes well-used as the night wears on.

On the Upper Deck, is the ship’s aft-facing Lounge and Bar. It is flanked by an outdoor terrace that is the perfect location for a pre-dinner drink.

Sun Deck

The sun deck on the ship offers a panoramic view of the landscape’s beauty as you cruise. A great place to relax outdoors and enjoy the weather sipping a glass of wine while sitting on the loungers shaded with a parasol.
