Tipping is an expected element in China's tourism industry. Customarily every passenger pays on arrival to the guide and then it is distributed appropriately between the local guides and drivers. As a guideline we recommend 5- 7 USD per person per day.
Because everything was finely tuned & went to plan
Could have done without the silk and jade shops, however the terracotta warriors shop was very good
excellent value for money saw everything we wanted to see
Absolutely amazing - would have liked to have spent more time in Xi'an than Shanghai. They were long days but our tour guide (Amy) made sure we saw everything there was to see, at a reasonable pace.
Fantastic holiday well worth the price. Wouldn't have managed to see everything if did this independently. National guide link was very professional and thoughtful . It would have been nice to have more free time at French concession . Possibly give silk factory and jade factory a miss. But I would definitely recommend archers and trip to anyone in fact I have x
very good holiday lots of information and little free time to kill
I was rather apprehensive about travelling to China for our holiday this year, but my wife wanted to go and so it was to be. How glad I am that I agreed to go on the China Experience as this was most definitely one of the best holidays I have ever been on. From the first day until the last our time was filled with non stop captivating experiences that I will never forget and all this was down to our both our main and local guides who were incredibly knowledgeable and dealt successfully with all our needs in a most friendly and professional manner consistently and we would like to extend a very special THANK YOU to Jason our main guide who quite simply made our holiday the amazing experience that it was. We couldn't thank him enough ... he is indeed an asset to the company and all in the 'Jason Family' were in agreement about that. Thank you Archers so much for a terrific holiday and we will definitely see you again next time. Steve and Cathy Yarworth
Beautiful country and certainly different to what I was expecting.
A fantastic holiday but spoiled somewhat by being taken to the airport at Beiging 8 hours before our flight home!
