Fly to Toronto where you will transfer to your hotel for two nights.
Tour the city’s major landmarks, including City Hall, the CN Tower and Roger's Stadium – home of the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club. Then onto the thundering star attraction of Niagara Falls. See the falls from superb scenic points along the edge of the gorge, and then get even closer – in your waterproofs - on board the sightseeing cruise.
Depart Ontario’s capital and stop in Kingston, situated at the mouth of the Cataraqui and St. Lawrence rivers, to explore its grand 19th century buildings and streets. Continue to Gananoque and Ivy Lea, where you'll enjoy a scenic cruise along the St Lawrence River, past wooded islands dotted with beautiful summer homes. Then proceed along the route of the Rideau Canal to Ottawa, Canada's beautiful capital city.
Queen Victoria chose this small lumber town as the site for Canada's capital, neatly avoiding the conflicting views of Toronto and Montreal. This morning see the Canadian Mint, the embassy district and stately Parliament Hill; and see the Royal Canadian Mounted Police stables. Suggestions for this afternoon include the magnificent Canadian Museum of History or the array of restaurants and shops at the lively Byward Market.
Today, drive into the French-Canadian province of Quebec, where you will notice a change in language and tradition. Travel along the picturesque Ottawa River Valley to arrive in historic Quebec City, the heart of French Canada and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Enjoy an included guided tour of Quebec City which is North America's only walled city, crowned by the great turrets of the Chateau Frontenac. Old Quebec was the centre of New France and is now one of the most historic and best-preserved cities in North America. Within the walls are the Place d'Armes, the Laval Seminary and the star-plan Citadelle. Also see the stone houses crowding the narrow streets of Lower Town and ancient Place Royal by the St Lawrence River, and the historic Plains of Abraham where General Wolfe stormed the slopes. The afternoon is free.
This morning the optional excursion takes you to the pleasant forest setting of Érablière le Chemin du Roy Sugar Cabin for a delicious breakfast and a guided visit and presentation on maple extraction. Afterwards, head south to cosmopolitan Montreal; as you enter the city look out for the canted tower of the Olympic Stadium. Major attractions on this afternoon's guided sightseeing tour include Old Montreal and the Seminary of St Sulpice, Mont Royal and modern Montreal. In the evening be sure to try out one of the many sidewalk cafés specialising in French cuisine with a Canadian influence.
Journey back to the 1860s at the Upper Canada Village, one of the largest and most complete living history museums in Canada. Afterwards travel back to Toronto.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK.
Maximum elevation on this tour is 1,600 ft.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour . We met a really nice group of fellow travellers and felt we had value for money
It was the most expensive holiday we have booked with them, fewer days and no meals.
Hotels are in central location with easy access to places of interests. Tour director and driver are knowledgable and helpful. However, we only had half a day in Montreal and missed out open air concerts and other celebrations in town. Some of the group were too tired to enjoy the Montreal afternoon city tour. A second night in Montreal would be ideal. Day 2 Niagara Falls/ helicopter ride/ CN Tower dinner - I feel there are too many optional excursions on the same day with too little time to enjoy Niagara Falls.
Well organised, plenty to see.

I have given a 'Good' against this as the cities chosen were all good. However, it was intense as there was a lot of travel by coach so too much time spent on the road and not enough at destinations or enough given to free time. Also it would have been much better to depart at the end of our tour from Montreal and not have to return to Toronto, although the bonus of that was a tour of the Upper Canada Village which was amazing.
This was our first coach tour of Eastern Canada and I have to say we were delighted with the content of the tour. We saw some wonderful scenery and sights that will live long in the memory. We throughly enjoyed the experience.
I would have given excellent for the tour except for an incident which happened in Montreal where the tour director abandoned us after giving us the wrong time for a tour we booked in Montreal. We missed the tour.I have already sent an email to Archers admin.with details and was told I will get an answer within 28 days which I consider to be too long for an answer.
Ive given it an excellent mark although 1 hotel could have been better
