Our Tour Director Caterina Armeni MADE the holiday for us....

Miss Lay Kim Lim

Our Tour Director Caterina Armeni MADE the holiday for us. She was fun, competent, professional, effective and diligent. The whole tour went smoothly due to her time plannng and organisational competence! Importantly, she was warm, kind and caring to all of us! I will now be holding Caterina up as a benchmark for all future holidays and tours that I take, whether with your company or other companies! Holland and Americawas great. Their embarkation and disembarkation processes were excellent. Very slick and smooth. In particular, their Guest Relations Supervisor Candice was brilliant. She dealt with my complaints about a very noisy stateroom very swiftly, competently, effectively and with empathy.

Mr A King

The coach tour from Calgary to Vancouver was great, with an excellent tour guide - Renato, who gave us loads of interesting info en route. The hotels we stayed in were fine, some excellent. Apart from breakfast on the 1st day, there were no meals included but we were able to locate suitable eating places, with some recommendations from Renato. The scenery was spectacular, lots of stops en route to view more sights. We didn't regret not doing the Rocky Mountaineer train journey as we like to get off the bus & see more. Only one very long day on the coach, from Jasper to Kamloops. Pity Canadian coaches don't have a middle door to speed up getting on & off the bus The transfer from Vancouver hotel to the cruise ship was long & tedious, mainly due to US Immigration! On the Nieuw Amsterdam, we were up-graded from a level 1, large inside cabin, to level 4 outside cabin behind a lifeboat - no balcony but daylight. We booked the ship excursions beforehand, as recommended - tickets awaited us in our cabin. All excursions were expensive, but this is usual on a cruise ship. The ship's staff were all friendly & helpful; the and food and entertainment were good. We sat with different people, for dinner, each night and enjoyed this. Although we'd been warned beforehand, we felt the daily $13.50 charge per person was exorbitant, but had no choice. Hopefully all staff do get a share of this. The other negative points on the ship were the casino & Art auction - an American thing that we don't like but I guess it makes them more money. The airline used was Air Transat which were adequate but not great for food, mean on drinks & limited seat width. The taxi transfers to & from Gatwick were much appreciated

The holiday tour of the Canadian Rockies was wonderful with fantastic scenery, beautiful places visited and a good guide and driver. This is the first tour we have done with your company that hasn't included some meals and I feel with some meals included it gives you a chance to gel with other tour members. The transfer from the tour to the ship was very chaotic with everyone having to book their own taxi and waiting to see whose taxi had arrived. Surely this could be done more efficiently as I believe there were 18 of us going on the cruise.
