Mr Philip Bolton

The Tour Manager was exceptionally good (this was our 18th tour with Archers so we feel we are sufficiently qualified to give this feedback). The content of the tour was well balanced and we also did all of the optional excursions. The optionals may seem expensive but we thoroughly enjoyed every one of them and they were worth every penny we paid - and I don't say that very often! All of the hotels were of a very good standard and the included breakfasts each day and the 3 included dinners were of a very high standard. Ireland is a beautiful place to visit and this tour is a great way of making the most of what there is to see.

Mrs Adcock

We did the ireland explorer tour, a whistle stop holiday which packs a lot into the time allocated. The hotels were good/very good on the whole, we wished we could have stayed in Donegal or Derry instead of Sligo, and stayed in Dingle or Galway instead of Limerick but that’s personal preference. It was useful to have breakfasts included and some evening meals but nice to have the option of dining out if desired. Do not expect a relaxing holiday, there are early mornings most days but that’s the price you pay in order to see as much of Ireland as we did in the allocated time. The other travellers were mainly USA, Canada or Australia but we all got on really well. The tour director Bob was excellent, he was very knowledgeable, humorous and efficient, the coach driver Les, a jolly helpful man who did a brilliant job transporting us ,a safe pair of hands. We did a couple of the optional excursions but enjoyed the free time to please ourselves when we didn’t join the rest of the tour group on the other optional excursions We have travelled with Archers several times in the past and have already booked a trip with them for 2019

Excellent value for money. They kept us moving, but we saw it all. The welcome meal plan and full breakfasts set us up for the day. Our Tour guide's meticulous attention to detail and her wealth of knowledge made this an interesting and informative trip. Our skillful; driver made the trip run smoothly, even around the narrow coastal roads of the Dingle peninsular!
