Hotel Continental at Torbole was excellent - staff , food and facilities were great however we were expecting to be staying near the lakeside not 2 kms away up a very steep hill. The hotel had a courtesy bus but that was not always at a convenient time and the local bus was not reliable. I would like to know the criteria for allocating this hotel from the three mentioned in the brochure as no choice was offered . We also found having Venice and Verona on consecutive days was too much, these are long days from a 7 30 am start returning at nearly 9pm ( Venice) was not something we could cope with so sadly we missed that trip The gastronomy group at the hotel had these trips with a weekend in between - the Verona trip and transport to and from the airport were excellent
