Very enjoyable and stimulating holiday.Excellent Tour Guide and Driver. Also very good local guides on inclusive tours and a nice selection of optional tours and dinners. This made mixing socially with other nationalities a real pleasure.

Not enough time to see everything needs to be a fourteen night holiday. Forty five minutes to climb mount Vesuvius wasn't long enough also one full day in Capri was too short it could be planned better.

I also did the extension in Sicily. As above some good, some poor - there were issues as to the structure of outings around Palermo. It might be an idea to seek advice from the Tour Directors, they see at first hand the reaction of their party to events as they evolve. Okay as to ratings - I detest them as pretty meaningless but you ask me to tick something so have done so to satisfy some box-ticking team.

Whenever I tell friends and family about my trip, they always assume it was a two week holiday! This trip manages to include so many different places and cultural experiences in just 8 days, without it feeling overwhelming or exhausting. A great way to see diverse parts of Italy - the first half of the trip allows you to soak up the history of Rome, Vesuvius and Pompeii while the second half gives you the opportunity to have a slightly more relaxed few days while enjoying some stunning scenery. My only warning would be that I went on this trip in August, and while the weather was beautiful while I was in Capri and Sorrento, meaning the scenery was enhanced, the days in Rome and Pompeii was extremely hot and I couldn't have managed much more than the three days this part took. Perhaps think about a different time of year if you struggle in the heat.

All accommodation exceeded my expectations and the tour director Claudio was simply brilliant
