Today is dedicated to the sights of Dallas beginning with a visit to the legendary Southfork Ranch, where the infamous television series 'Dallas' was filmed. Tour the Ewing Mansion and see the gun that shot J.R., Lucy Ewing's wedding dress, the 'Dallas' family tree and Jock Ewing's Lincoln Continental. In the afternoon return to the city of Dallas for an included sightseeing tour. Start in Pioneer Plaza to see the spectacular sculpture commemorating the 19th Century longhorn cattle drives that took place along the Shawnee Trail. Continue to the Historic West End and Dealey Plaza to see where the assassination of President John F Kennedy took place on 22 November 1963. Included is a visit to the 6th floor Museum and see the window that Lee Harvey Oswald fired from.

Dallas - Fort Worth

This morning travel the short journey to the traditional cowboy city of Fort Worth. Combining cowboys and culture this city is sure to delight you. Visit the Stockyards National Historic District to enjoy a 'Stockyards Experience' by seeing the 'Spirit of the West' movie. Afterwards, meet the drivers/cowboys of the Fort Worth Herd and see a Longhorn cattle drive before visiting the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. The museum pays tribute to over 70 cowboys and cowgirls who have excelled in the sport of rodeo and western lifestyle. Overnight in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth - Austin

This morning travel to Austin, the 'Live Music Capital of the World'. On arrival visit the Bob Bullock State History Museum which tells the 'Story of Texas', before taking a guided sightseeing tour around the city that includes Historic Sixth Street, the Texas Capitol complex, Governor's Mansion and the University of Texas.

Austin - San Antonio

A short drive from Austin to the most visited city in Texas: San Antonio, home of the Alamo and the historic River Walk. Sightseeing continues with a guided visit to San Fernando Cathedral, the oldest in the United States, and downtown’s authentic Mexican marketplace, El Mercado. Afterward, visit the infamous ALAMO. It was here in 1836 that a small band of Texans defended themselves against the Mexican Army, and although the Alamo fell, it remains hallowed ground and symbolizes courage and sacrifice for the cause of liberty. End your day back at the River Walk.

Most of today is free to relax or perhaps enjoy a stroll along the cobblestone sidewalks of the River Walk to uncover the Spanish colonial architecture, and fountain-laden parks and plazas that makes San Antonio one of America’s most picturesque cities. End your day with a Thanksgiving Day Feast.

Texas Hill Country is home to the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic Park. Discover the story of the 36th President, from his ancestors to his final resting place, at the LBJ Ranch. Visit the Texas White House, including the President’s office, living room, dining room, den and yellow sitting room, largest working Wildflower Farms in the U.S. before returning to San Antonio in the late afternoon. Restored to their 1963-1968 appearance. Next, Fredericksburg, and time on your own to enjoy this historic town. Visit one of the largest working Wildflower Farms in the U.S. before returning to San Antonio in the late afternoon. End your day with reserved seating to enjoy the River Parade and Holiday Lighting, along the River Walk.

Houston is a city of firsts—home to the first successful human heart transplant, America’s first public television station and the first word spoken on the Moon. Gain an appreciation for Houston’s rich history on a sightseeing tour of America’s fourth-largest city that includes the Theatre District, which is second only to New York City. You’ll marvel at the world-famous Texas Medical Center, whose 675 acres and 42 nonprofit institutions make it the largest medical complex in the world. Then visit one of Houston’s most expensive neighborhoods, River Oaks.

Begin your day with a guided visit to the Houmas House Plantation and Gardens, a former sugar plantation which survived the American Civil War. Continue across Bayou Country into New Orleans, the capital of Dixieland. Upon arrival, a guided sightseeing tour features the best of the 'City Care Forgot', featuring the French Quarter landmarks of the St Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square and an above ground cemetery.
